Remember that glorious day, years ago, when the King of the Monsters was shat upon by everyone's favorite mutated Pteranadon? (It's here on this very blog, believe it or not) Well, here are just some of the out-takes from that hilarious event. Enjoy!

MechaGodzilla 2 takes a stroll in DTLA (revised)
This is what happens when kaiju insist on going to the latest trendy restaurant in DTLA. They take up all the outdoor dining space.
(DISCLAIMER: This is the second time around for this one. We added the helicopter to fill in the empty space up there.)

King Ghidorah was secretly part of Warhol's Factory
Well, well, well...looks like a certain three-headed kaiju was secretly shooting stuff with Andy Warhol's Factory on the side back in the Eighties. Naturally, this was all kept on the downlow, as there's no way that Toho would have been happy had they found out.

Moguera in B&W, #2 (Then & Now)
Another black and white night. Pretty noir-ish, if you ask us. Or maybe a tokusatsu version of The Blues Brothers?

Red carpet bonus: Shodaigoji
A special one from the red carpet shoot for you guys: shodaigoji '54, looking pretty badass in charcoal gray! It just goes to show how serious a movie Gojira was when it came out. Little wonder that this guy's career took off like it did.
A buddy pic with John Stamos could be a huge hit, don't you think? Or maybe Maisie Williams?

Kaiju on the red carpet!
WOW...looks like somebody in L.A. is holding red carpet events, even in spite of the virus-fueled entertainment lockdown. A bunch of our favorite kaiju recently hit the step-and-repeat for a promotional event for this blog, somewhere in Hollywood! It was great to see Godzilla '54, Gamera, Moguera and even unexpected guest Lunamaria from "Gundam Seed" make it down. Here's a sampling from the carpet:
Shodaigoji and Kingugoji getting all chummy.
Gaiking, looking pretty badass in the new armor.
King Ghidorah.
Mechagodzilla head shot.
Kingugoji reacting to fans. He looks to be having a good time.
Gamera, the Guardian of the Carpet.
Shodaigoji, not looking happy at this photographer.
Moguera.
Lunamaria Hawke from Gundam Seed.
OMG, they're doing the shie.

Gaiking gets Shakespearean
Something along the lines of "Alas, poor Yorick" probably applies here, yes?
This is probably the very first time in the history of the world that a Japanese giant robot has channeled Sir Lawrence Olivier.
Love how the dramatic shadow fills the middle in, and also creates that sense of dark tension. Ken Russell would have loved it. It also sort of looks a bit like Raydeen's shadow, come to think of it.

Surfin' After Midnight: how kaiju maintain their underground cred
Looks like the Nineties are back, at least for one night. The only thing missing is the KROQ music in the background. Looking pretty gnarly, actually.
(Yeah, it's a California reference. Look it up.)

No respect for the King
Are any more words really necessary? 😂
Actually, one wonders why Toho never allowed Rodan to do this in the first place.

Gamera wears a mask, because he protects children.
If it's good enough for the Guardian of the Universe, it's good enough for you. If you can put up with "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service", you can put up with this.

Bitchy robots
"Stop talking behind my back! And don't pretend that you can't hear me through those horns, either!"
